Baking Soda

Baking soda is a very humble and versatile addition to your kits. This simple white powder can be used for a variety of purposes including:

  • Toothpaste
  • Cleaner for cooking equipment, tools, etc.
  • Stomach antacid
  • Treating insect bites and itchy skin
  • Removing oil and grease from fabrics
  • Neutralize battery acid corrosion
  • Deodorant

Be sure to carry some baking soda in a container that is NOT prone of leaks and clearly label the container.
