Cordage, such as paracord, is extremely useful but it gets easily tangled if not wound properly. After trying several ways to wind and store cordage I found that hanking works very well. Creating a hank is easy, space efficient, and makes for tangle-free deployment. This is an excellent video that shows how to create and deploy a hank. I would like to thank Plantbased Outdoors for this video.
To deploy the paracord simply pull on the paracord end on the top of the hank. The paracord will deploy quickly and tangle free.
