WaterBrick

WaterBricks are stackable water storage containers manufactured by WaterBrick International. Each WaterBrick holds 3.5 gallons of water and bricks can be interlocked and stacked up to 4′ high. They are made from a very rugged, BPA-free, high density polyethylene (HDPE), and each WaterBrick includes a comfortable carry handle. WaterBricks were designed so that an average person could easily carry two bricks filled with water. The 3.25″ opening makes contents easy to load and access. A heavy rubber gasket ensures a tight and long-lasting seal. A WaterBrick can also hold food, ammunition, or other supplies (up to 120 pounds). Two interior conical reinforcement columns keep the WaterBricks locked.

Recommendations

The general rule of thumb is to have one gallon of water per person per day. FEMA recommends that everyone have three days of stored water. Each WaterBrick stores 3.5 gallons. At an absolute minimum have one filled WaterBrick to provide three days of water per person. I recommend having one to two weeks of stored water per person which equates to two WaterBricks (one week) or four WaterBricks (two weeks) per person. Be sure you know about Long-Term Water Storage.

WaterBrick Stack

WaterBricks can stack and interlock similar to large Lego bricks. When stacking WaterBricks in a square tower place the first two bricks in a square and interlock the next row at a 90° angle. Alternate the rows as you build your tower. Do not stock the bricks more than 4′ high.
